Galapagos Island trekking

Galapagos is home to some of the world’s rarest and most exotic wildlife.

The Volcanic Archipelago is a paradise on earth where you can do trekking, observe and photograph animals in their natural environment so well and close.

Galapagos trekking

The tracks are, in some cases, tough and irregular, most of the time marked over sharp and rough lava, that heats up under the tropical sun, which is why we recommend the use of good sneakers, or if you like, Teva type sandals. Nonetheless, any effort you make will be worth for the experiences you will live, and you will end up captivated by the charm and magic of the Islands.

Galapagos boobies

Trekking in the Galapagos Islands has become very popular. It is possible to spot more animals hiking around the Islands in 1 hour than 1 week anywhere else.

There are some interesting hikes in the Galapagos: Sierra Negra Volcano, Volcan Alcedo, Santa Cruz highlands.

You can also enjoy more mild walks on lava fields, on secluded beaches and other pristine areas.

The Galapagos guides can point out the fascinating details of the islands, turning a beautiful activity hike into an encylopedic experience. Take good walking shoes, lots of water, and don't wander off! It's easier to get lost on these islands than you think.
